Kinja retains ingesting my write-up, but I was gonna say Chrysler in the 90’s, with the cab ahead style and design of the LH autos, cloud autos, and Neon, and the massive-rig motivated Ram. Plenty of hits, not to mention the Viper
Chrysler damn near ran cab-ahead into the floor all over this time, but neither Ford nor Normal Motors was doing work to force American car layout into the 21st century the way Auburn Hills was through the ’90s, spanning Dodge’s full variety. Even the Ram was special between pickups. Ford’s New Edge was in the same way promising, but the American aspect of the operation hardly ever leaned as hard into it as they should’ve.
