Lucid, the EV startup guiding the Air sedan that competes with the Tesla Model S, has introduced that it’s laying off around 1,300 employees, or 18 per cent of its workforce, inside the next couple of months. In accordance to an e-mail from CEO Peter Rawlinson, which was connected to a regulatory filing, the cuts will have an affect on personnel and contractors “in nearly each individual organization and degree, such as executives.”
